R&D Project Manager
About the role
XPANCEO is a deep tech company at the intersection of optics, biosensors, wireless tech, and wearables — building next-gen smart contact lenses. The R&D Project Manager will turn vision into structured specs, own PoC projects end-to-end, coordinate between R&D, business, legal, and marketing, and keep the whole R&D portfolio organized in Notion — while working directly with enterprise-level corporate clients.
Requirements
- 5+ years in project/product management, ideally with B2B and hardware experience
- Technical degree and engineering literacy — able to read specs and speak the engineers' language
- Experience in both startups and large companies
- Experience with enterprise-level external corporate clients
- Able to build processes from scratch and bring structure to ambiguity
- Confident with Notion; English B2+
- Nice to have: R&D/hardware/deep tech experience, understanding of optics, electronics, biosensors, or wireless tech, experience writing and aligning specs, Agile/Scrum/Kanban practice.
